Desde el que pisa el acelerador a fondo, la que juega a tirarse al que más le apetece, el que grita sin pensar en lo que dice, la que se va de casa, el que bebe sin moderacion, la que pisotea a los que le rodean para ascender, el que hace la vista gorda para enriquecerse…un largo etcetera, que cada uno rellene como mejor que le venga.

No puedes pensar que luego no pasa nada si atropellas a alguien, que ese tio con el que estuviste no va a querer ni mirarte a la cara, que puedes volver y todo estará igual, que te vamos a poner un riñon nuevo comprado en el supermercado, que vas a tener un equipo que te saque las castañas del fuego, que el pais no va entrar en una crisis…análogo y paralelo etcetera, que cada uno rellene como quiera.

Pero que a mi no me vengan…porque conmigo si habrá consecuencias. Y te aseguro que las vas a sentir, si yo soy una de ellas. Toda accion tiene siempre una reaccion. Os lo aviso. No vengais luego llorando.

El de hoy, la presa

El de la semana pasada, el rio.

Homófago: dicese de aquella persona que se alimenta de otras personas para sobrevivir. Difiere del canibalismo porque se alimenta de ilusiones y no de carne. Utiliza a las personas de forma no intencional e involuntaria devorando la personalidad de sus victimas a base de jugar con sus sentimientos para complementar sus debilidades y necesidades puntuales. Generalmente cuando consume a una persona, salta a la siguiente sin remordimeinto ni sentimiento de culpa o añoranza, utilizando la frase “la vida es asi”.

Homofágia: costumbre y de aquellos que acostumbran a ser homófagos. Pandemia que afecta a la mayoria de la población humana del siglo XXI.

Y si no existe, me lo invento…

Nosotros ayer también estuvimos de cuentas y facturas en la empresa, y surgió el tema de la diferencia entre facturación y beneficios. Algo aparentemente trivial, pero que muchos confunden y que al final, a muchos también les da problemas cuando hay que pagar el IVA.

Ahora mismo podría deciros que el volumen de facturación de mi empresa se ha incrementado hasta el 170% en el primer trimestre del año, que en los últimos 3 años hemos conseguido un aumento de los beneficios del 45% y que además por fin rendimos con balance positivo.

¿Como os quedáis?? Me veis ya con el BMW en la puerta y pensando en el color del yate, ¿a que si?

Pues nada más lejos de la realidad, os lo aseguro. Las cifras porcentuales si. El volumen neto (en euros) no os lo digo, que hay crisis. Pero con la información que os he dado, en realidad no os he dicho nada. No podéis saber si facturo unos miles de euros al mes,  unos cuantos de cientos de miles, o si quiera millones (juas!! iba a estar yo aquí escribiendo).

Estoy harto de ver startups que presentan balances a posibles inversores argumentando que han incrementado su facturación en un 250%. Esto quiere decir que si el año pasado cobraron a sus clientes 1Millon de euros, este año han cobrado ¿2’5 Millones…o 3’5? Aritmética básica, dependiendo de como lo quieras escribir y como lo vayan a leer. Un incremento del 250% realmente debería significar que facturas lo mismo que el año pasado, y además 2’5 veces más. Luego si facturaste 1 Millón, este año deberías haber facturado 3’5 (1 + 2’5). Probable, y habitualmente, se suelen referir es que este año cobraron 2’5 millones, 1’5 más que el año pasado, lo que es un incremento del 150% respecto al año pasado. Pero si tomamos la cifra actual,sería un incremento del 60% (1M de 2’5M es el 40% de 2’5).

Mola de cuantas maneras se puede decir lo mismo, según queramos pintarlo.

Pero, y ahora la cuestión importante, ¿¿cuanto de eso son beneficios?? En la ultima empresa en la que trabajé, eramos 12 personas para facturar unos 5M al año. Empezó la crisis y hubo que despedir a gente. Mas adelante a otros pocos. Y así hasta que nos quedamos sólo 5 para sacar la empresa adelante, eso si, incrementando la facturación hasta los 7 M de euros. ¿Como es posible? Menos gente, más facturación…debíamos de ser unos genios. Nada más lejos de la realidad, pues teníamos una gestión pésima de los proyectos, que aunque grandes (y caros), casi todos eran deficitarios en costes de puesta en marcha, horas de trabajo, y partes proporcionales en la aportación a los gastos mensuales fijos de la propia actividad de la empresa. Porque facturar más no implica necesariamente que se esté haciendo mejor.

Pero, supongamos que la gestión es medianamente aceptable, y podemos afirmar que hemos incrementado los beneficios en un 10%. ¿Netos o brutos? ¿sobre que base?. No es lo mismo decir que hemos incrementado los beneficios sobre la facturación total, que sobre los beneficios netos del año pasado. Podríamos haber facturado más del doble que el año pasado, y no obstante tener unos beneficios solo un mísero 10% mayores que anterior año (mala gestion = maldición), haber mantenido la facturación y haber mejorado el rendimiento monetario en un 10% (mejora de la eficiencia = un sueño), o incluso haber facturado menos y haber mejorado los beneficios (gestión sublime, eficiencia de Nobel = Mito). Si facturé 10 el año pasado y gané 1, y este año he facturado 20, pero he ganado 1’5 en lugar de 2…mal voy.

Pero (el tercero), ¿que pasa con el IVA?. Nuestro contable me comentaba que muchísimos de sus clientes consideraban como beneficios los brutos obtenidos directamente de la facturación, sin tener el cuenta que lo correspondiente de IVA no es suyo, sino que es de la hacienda pública y van a tener que pagarlo. Muy pocos son previsores y guardan lo que deben para estar a bien con el fisco a final de año.

El IVA emitido (el que se cobra a los clientes) se suele compensar con el recibido (el que nos cobran por lo que compramos). De esta forma, las empresas que han mejorado son las que realmente terminan abonando un IVA no tan grande, por la compensación, pero pagando al fin. Las que “se mantienen” pueden seguir sobreviviendo con una liquidez real mínima, ya que no tienen que realizar grandes desembolsos en impuestos. Y las que gastan más de lo que ganan…no, hacienda casi nunca devuelve dinero…pero digamos que hace un poco la vista gorda hasta ver si te va mejor.
